How Cell Phones Have Affected Evening Bags.

Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a Betty Reiter custom sweater from Paris, a silk blouse by Krizia, sueded Joe's jeans, a Cole Haan belt, J.Crew shoes and
a purse that was a Christmas gift---it's from one of the
finest leather manufactures in Argentina.

I know that everyone uses their phone a lot in this day and age, but mine is my lifeline for my business. I am constantly on it sending pictures to clients, approving quotes via email and texting and emailing with my assistant, vendors and clients.

My job never really ends at 5 and thus, I must have my cell phone with me at all times.

Knowing how much I use my phone, people often laugh when they see that I am still using the iPhone 5s, and have not upgraded to the 6. Why, they ask? I'll tell you. It's for one reason and one reason only. The iPhone 6s will not fit in an evening bag.

I've been having this battle between cell phones and evening bags for years now. I have been collecting evening bags since I was 18 years old and I now have incredible evening bags that I can't use because my cell phone doesn't fit! I have Judith Leiber bags I can't use, and sadly a gorgeous sterling silver barrel bag that I got when I made my debut that my cell phone doesn't fit in it.

I would assume I'm not the only lady that has this problem.

Here are three bags currently available at Neiman Marcus that you CAN fit your phone in.

Here are two current Judith Leiber bags that I love, but sadly won't fit my phone.

Love Taylor Swift's 1989 album and especially this song!

Last night for dinner I made arugula and romaine salad with smoked turkey and blue cheese dressing. I served a bacon wrapped breadstick on the side.
