Kay's Christmas Gift Guide-10 Gifts for Under $100

Editor's Note: My outfit today is Christian Lacroix shoes, an Ann Taylor skirt and silk blouse and my favorite Chanel pearls.

I shop for Christmas gifts starting in January, and I keep my eyes open for gifts all year long for the next Christmas and subsequent special occasions, birthdays, etc.

With the holiday season drawing near, I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide for ideas for gifts under $100. All of these gifts can be found at Wright at Home, which is the store that where my office is.

1. Aquiesse Monterey Pine Candle- $45.

This candle smells divine and is in a pretty container that almost looks like mercury glass.
My assistant and I have both purchased this candle the last couple of years---it smells like Christmas.

2. Peacock Alley Fiore Throw- $100.

These throws are fabulous and very soft. Wonderful that they can be used right away as we go into the very cold months, but really can be used all year round---god bless full blast Texas air conditioning!

*Editor's Note-Thank you to Holly of Wright at Home for modeling these throws in her very festive tartan blouse!

3. Julia Knight Holly Sprig bowl- $65.

I bought something similar for a friend last year and may go for another one this year. Julia Knight products are so pretty and this bowl is festive and perfect for putting out nuts or olives at your holiday party! It would make such a fabulous hostess gift.

4. Kenneth Turner Winter Berries Candle- $70.

This Kenneth Turner candle smells divine and comes with this beautiful holiday red gift box.
Much like good shoes, nice candles are always a good idea.

5. Lollia Bubble Bath- $38.

The best gifts are the one's that the person wouldn't necessarily buy for themselves. Nice bubble bath is such a fun luxury item, and this one smells delicious and comes in a gorgeous bottle to boot!

6. Jetsetter Mini Pillow-$89.

Wrest---Adrian Wright's newest store, which attaches to Wright at Home has a fabulous new pillow bar, which has all kinds of pillows and inserts. This travel pillow is perfect for holiday travel or for your loved one that has wanderlust!

7. Gold and White Deer Ring Bowl-$20.

This ring bowl is so perfect for showcasing your jewelry for holiday festivities and it is a great price point! Perfect for a hostess gift, stocking stuffer or a little treat for yourself!

8. Silver Santa- $65.

This santa is 17.5'' tall and so beautiful to be amongst a Christmas display or to stand on it's own. A beautiful Santa is something that does not go out of style and you will find yourself pulling it out year after year!

9. Branche silk pillow case-$98.

These silk pillow cases are not only beautiful--they are so much better for your skin than regular sheeting material because they are not as harsh as you rub your face against them during the night.
The definition of beauty sleep! This is the perfect pick for the person on your list who is a beauty guru!

10. Sinatra Coffee Table Book- $50.

Who doesn't love Frank Sinatra? This coffee table book is beautiful and wonderful for someone that loves Sinatra music. A perfect gift for the debonair gentleman on your list!

Stop by Wright at Home and Wrest to pick up one of these fabulous gift items---Be sure to tell them that Miss Kay sent you!

This song was performed on The Voice last night and it was so amazing that I bought it on iTunes before Zach had even finished singing.

Last night for dinner I made crab cakes from Central Market with their Remoulade sauce and an arugula salad with avocado, apple and sliced almonds.

I squeeze lemon juice over the crab cakes and top them with a pat of butter and Slap Ya Mama seasoning and bake them at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. They are delicious!
